Here you can access key platforms and knowledge hubs that support agriculture and organic farming across Europe. Explore tools, resources, publications and knowledge sources designed to inform, connect and empower farmers, advisors and organisations. While some platforms focus specifically on organic farming, processing and trade, others cover broader agricultural and forestry topics and include organic farming as one of several thematic areas.
The Organic Farm Knowledge platform provides access to a wide range of tools and resources about organic farming. A wide range of tools are available such as practice abstracts, leaflets, videos and websites. These tools were selected by or created in various projects and from several institutions.
The AdvisoryAgriHub is a one-stop resource hub aiming to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, enhance knowledge access, and provide tools for advisors to deliver consistent, high-quality guidance across the EU. The AdvisoryAgriHub contains material across five themes, including fertilization (STRATUS), pest management (AdvisoryNetPEST), livestock management (LIVENET), forestry (FORADVISE) and organic farming (OrganicAdviceNetwork).
The EU-FarmBook is an under-development online platform that gathers and provides practice-oriented materials from the domain of agriculture and forestry. Materials useful for practice such as videos, manuals, infographics, podcasts and much more, come together in this EU-wide open-source interactive database, to bring practical knowledge to farmers, foresters, advisors and other rural actors across Europe.
Organic Eprints is an international open access archive of electronic documents related to research in organic food and farming. The archive contains full-text papers together with bibliographic information, abstracts and other metadata. It also offers information on organisations, projects and facilitates in the context of organic farming research.
Within the OrganicAdviceNetwork project, several reports and analyses were developed to strengthen organic advisory services across Europe. These publications address financial support for organic advisory services under the CAP and other measures, educational systems related to organic farming, existing knowledge gaps and research needs, the development of 50 new tools, and the mapping of organic advisory services. The reports are available here for further exploration and use.
